New Deal Scandal is back!

Against the will of Action for Employment (a4e) we are not going away.

A4e may have successfully taken down watchingA4e as Webs (previously freewebs) bowed to the pressure but WordPress had the sense and courtesy to consult with me first before taking removal action. I proved to WordPress that this is nothing more than internet censorship as my source for that blog post was from the Government and is available to anyone who wishes to search the company register.

This makes it 1-1 on the score between A4e and Blogger!

This meant a little bit of downtime – well no new posts anyway and one being hidden (private) – but now we are back, and now have some more content on A4e that I am sure you will find interesting.

I have to admit that my personal opinion on this situation was a little worrying. The post which A4e was offended by was acknowledgement of termination as a company director – publicly available information. This is basic stuff – in return for shareholders having limited liability they have to publish accounts and company documents on to the public register. Anyone in the world can view this with an internet connection.

A director is a formal officer position of a company. Directors sit on the Board of Directors (obvious stuff hey?) and have FULL responsibility of the day-to-day running of the business. Having a directorship holds you rather liable for the business – for example with very poor Health & Safety, the director(s) can be prosecuted for corporate manslaughter, if someone dies as a result.

Now, Gordon Brown has announced he is stepping down from being Prime Minister tomorrow with immediate effect – for the future interests of the Labour Party… actually, that was a joke, sorry. I doubt that Gordon Brown or the Crown will take action against this. This “rumour” if I made it into a proper article.. would spread like wildfire, then when people realise its a hoax or simply not true, I would be seen as a bad source.

So whats significant about A4e wanting to censor that article? If I did (as they claimed) say that one member of staff resigned to which A4e says they still work for the company… would be silly but not really harmful to that business or person. If I said “Joe Bloggs, an A4e employee, was dismissed for Gross Misconduct after murdering someone at the head office” and that Joe Bloggs a) still works for A4e and b) didn’t commit that crime and wasn’t in custody – would be completely wrong.

All I stated about Neil Watson was he resigned from a directorship.


I didn’t even know that Neil Watson was the Finance Director until I googled his name!!


What do we know about A4e? A lot of bad things I have heard but I wont speculate here. We also know about them being caught on numerous occassions at different locations for fraud. We know that DWP was persuing a few different providers in a fraud investigation in the last 13 months, that A4e was named as one and that this director resignation by the Finance Director was after the investigation got into depth.

I’ll ask again: So whats significant about A4e wanting to censor that article?

A4e were the ones to state that Neil Watson still works for the company – this is bad for A4e. No, I am sure he is good at his job and all… and he wasn’t personally involved but if he still works there then why resignation of his directorship in the company? A4e are under investigation for fraud and he is the Finance Director – in case you were unaware!

Most people wouldn’t check the company register to view A4e company data – but I did. A lot of people wouldn’t know the register exists or that you can view it online. Sticking it on a blog like this allows people to learn this information. A4e for some reason saw this as a threat, saw red and tried to hide this piece of information.

This director resignation came in the new (tax/fiscal/company) year.

Just in case Neil Watson is watching this site (and reading this page)… hi Neil… You are just as liable now as you were. You were a director at the time of the fraud thus collectively with the other directors you are liable.

All you have managed is raising attention to yourself and A4e.
